Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9012 All-in-One Printer

I've had a OfficeJet Pro 9012 for some time now.

It used to scan double sided files into searchable pdf's perfectly.

But since I've reinstalled my laptop, I can't get the scanner to work properly... I'm SO frustrated...

  • In the HP scanner app for the OfficeJet Pro 9010 series (which I downloaded from the driver page for my specific printer model) it won't scan double sided (I can't select that option, only one sided...). It does have ADF.
  • In the HP Scan Universal app it will scan with ADF, but it won't scan with text recognition, even though it says on the HP website it will, HP printers - Scan as Editable Text (OCR) with HP Scan (Windows) | HP® Customer Support.

Someone who can help? Or else, can I please be provided with the software that would allow me to scan double sided files through ADF and with text recognition......?

Up till last week it all worked just fine :(.
