HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 Server Failure - No Fax To Email

I've owned this printer for approximately 10 months and Digital Fax Forwarding has been working fine until just recently. The last few weeks I'm intermittingly not receiving faxes forwarded to my email. Faxes are still printing out from the machine. The error on the printer App says "digital fax server failure".  If the machine is turned off and back on, sometimes the fax forward is received but will revert back to not receiving them soon after. 

 

No setting changes have been to HP Smart App or printer. No changes also to the internet connection.

I'd like to help!

 

  1. Are you using the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant to send a fax?
  2. Are you able to send faxes?

Yes, able to receive hard copy faxes and send faxes. It's the fax forward to email function that is now not working. Those digital fax settings on the HP Smart app has not changed.

I recommend you remove and re-add the settings on HP Smart.
