HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I recently replaced a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus by a HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.

I used the function "Scan to PC" on the printers panel very often, as the printer is not installed in the same room as some of other PCs.

On the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 I do have the function, but I'm missing a lot of options for this function, which were available

* I cannot save the scan as a PDF (it's always saved as image file)

* I cannot select, that the original to scan is double sided

* I cannot scan several originals and save them as one file

Did I miss something in the settings to make those options available on the "Scan to PC" function at the printers panel? Those were the most relevant functions for me (beside printing).

Does anyone have any sugestions? I couldn't find any information on the printers manual nor by google search.

Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-9010-all-in-one-printer-...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Assume that since you were able to Scan to PC, that has been done.

Watch this resource on how to use Scan to Computer properly:

These resources will be useful for the printer model:

Hope that helps.

Hi

Thank you for the reply.

The solution software has been installed already. We are able to print and scan from the software.

We are also able to scan to PC from the printers panel. But we cannot select the file type. It always saves the scan as an image file (what we hardly ever use).

The first video you posted (for HP Officejet 4650) shows exactly the function we are looking for at 1:55.

But this option seems to be missing for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015...

Or do we have to activate any settings which w couldnt find so far?

Thank you.
