HP OfficeJet Pro 9132e - how to get a fax test report?

Hello.

After my HP Office Jet Pro 8730 had recently died after only 5 years and just over 3000 pages at 70% (scanning, copying and faxing no longer work, printing via Linux now only with hplip (previously worked without too) and under Windows 11 only with HP Smart now, worked without before too), I needed a new device at short notice, especially because I also have to scan a lot.

The 70% failure of the 8730 happened a few weeks after the last firmware update.

With the HP Office Jet Pro 8730, I still had the option of testing the telephone connection for faxing during fax setup - i.e. to have a fax test report output, where the fax line was also tested directly, but this function no longer seems to exist with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9132e.

In my eyes, this is a technical step backwards, even if some consider faxing to be antiquated.

But as long as authorities and companies are often careless with their confirmations of receipt for their received mails, I am happy to send my mail addiational via fax afterwards.
You could also send it again by conventional mail, but this is more expensive and if you want to know whether the letter has really arrived, it is even more expensive. Conventional mail is somehow no longer what it used to be.

Unfortunately, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9132e no longer prints the first page of sent faxes in reduced size on the transmission log - also a technical step backwards.

So - at the end - how do I now get a fax test report with my HP OfficeJet Pro 9132e?

I have seen that there is also a free fax test service from HP at 1-**bleep**-473-2963 in the USA - what is not a fax test report in the end.

Is this service also free from abroad - e.g. from Germany?
Would that even work if I would test it with 10 pages? One page might work but thats not really a guarantee that it would work with 10 too.
