Hello, I have an old Officejet 7410 printer. It has given me some issues with printing now and then but I have been able to find solutions online and resolve them. Just recently I suddenly had issue with the color cartridge not recognizing and I did a partial reset (#6). After reset, the color cartridge is recognized but it seems that the scanner head stopped working. Now it remains stuck on the right side, the printer keeps trying to move it a few times and then shows a "Scanner Failure" error. I opened the top glass panel to see if anything is stuck but there does not seem to be any issue.  Also since it started giving this error after the reset, it seems there is some internal firmware error and not the hardware issue. I tried several things suggested online including a full reset but no luck. The scanner head just stays on the right side of the scanner glass. I i can barely see the light and then goes back in. It is also ridiculous that there is no obvious option to disable the scanner function or ignore scanner error to continue using printer.  Hoping that someone has a solution regarding how to fix this scanner failure error or at least disable the scanner function. Thanks.
