HP Officejet (7740, 9012e, etc) - how to set up the scan to email feature?

Hello,

I don't know how to activate the scan to email function. I already went to to the EWS server, but I don't have the "scan to email" feature, only the scan to computer.

How to activate ? What is the "app" to download ON THE PRINTER? Can't find it. Any help welcome.

True - Not all printers support Digital Send features, including the option for Scan to Email using SMTP / Profile setup.

Important - Email provider security - No more "Less Secure Apps"

The need for an "App Password" is not limited one email provider nor is the use of an App Password dictated (limited) by the method used to set up the Scan to Email (Apps or SMTP).  The need for an App Password is dependent on the type security required by the email provider.

1. Enable Web Services on the printer. For more information, see Set up Web Services.
2. From Home screen, touch Apps, and then touch Scan-to-Email app.
