When I scan a document in and try to upload it to my banking institution, I get an error code that the PDF must be at least version 1.4

 

How do I update a PDF or how do I change my printer so that it will scan at that version?

How are you trying to scan?
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?

Hi...I can scan ok.  It's when I upload the document that the site I was uploading to requires a verion of 1.4 or higher to upload.  Mine is not scanning at that version.  I couldn't find driver updates for the HP 6830 that would fix this.
