Hello Community,

 

I have a client who was scanning PDF to his PC from the all in one.

 

What the trouble is NOW:

when you use the menu on All in one to scan/ computer/select roy_pc (scan to pdf option)

put paper in ADF, press scan.

The unit scans the paperwork, BUT doesnt't save it to the pc(open explorer with file scan00xx.pdf)

 

But when you put in direct onto the glass, follow same steps, It works once you press finish scan.

 

I've connected it using USB, and now tried it with wifi connection.  Guess what happened, exactly the same thing.

So, not sure if it PC problem or printer problem, since works via glass mode.

 

Using HP scan software all works OK.

 

Am I missing something?

Could anyone help in this situation?

So in summary, do a scan using the HP FULL software solution , select Source as "Use Document feeder if loaded", scan and save document. and then use the Scan to Computer, it should then pick up from the ADF.

I am having the same problem - the Scan to PC function works from the flatbed but NOT from ADF - the scan just disappears and doesn't get saved - the printer confirms it has been sent to the computer but it hasn't!!!!! I have the HP OfficeJet Pro 9019. This solution does not work! Please help - this is driving me nuts!
