As a quick work around, we added the sending email address and name to the address book and then checked the User Editable box.   It adds a couple steps but the user can select the sending account from the Address Book before they select their email address.   This will save you from having to upgrade to an older version Firmware.  I'm hoping when HP does release an update to fix it will upgrade itself.   Then we will Uncheck that User Editable box.

Good option for sure, but imagine having to do that to over 100+ devices...... 😕

Yep, its a pain for sure, but don't you loose all your settings if you downgrade the firmware?

I’ve had to revert firmware in the past and didn’t have any issues with setting. But it would be worth exporting your settings first.

I have same problem with 10 printers

 

The problem has been resolved by returning to the old firmware

✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

 

1-copy firmware file (ful2) to C Partition 

2-You will also need to share the printer on your computer.

3- open a command prompt on your PC with administrative privileges. 

 

The syntax for the command that you type into the command window is as follows:

 

copy /b c:\PW377dw_PW477dw_001.2105D.ful2 \\computername\printersharename

 

press enter and wait printer restart alone  and come back with old firmware 2105D
