We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Was unable to scan.  Lost all icons on desktop relating to HP.  Have been able to print but nothing else.  I went back to programs & features and uninstalled each individually but no mater how many times I try, the main one (HP Photosmart Premium C309a all-in-one driver software 12) will not go away.  I went to printers and deleted the printer from that screen but it still lists the printer under programs & features.  Part of the uninstall sequence gives you the option of deleting 'all HP products" or 'choose the individual products.'  When I go to where there is supposed to be a list of hp programs/products whatever, there is NOTHING listed.  How do I get rid of the HP printer in programs & features?

I understand you are trying to uninstall your C309 printer. I would like to help.

Let’s try to completely uninstall the printer program using Microsoft Fix it tool. Go to http://hp.care/2dHImNI and download the fix it tool and click “Run” or “Open”, and then follow the steps in the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter.

 

Once the drivers are uninstalled, go to http://hp.care/2dTCeH1 to download and install the printer drivers.

I understand you are trying to uninstall your C309 printer. I would like to help.

Let’s try to completely uninstall the printer program using Microsoft Fix it tool. Go to http://hp.care/2dHImNI and download the fix it tool and click “Run” or “Open”, and then follow the steps in the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter.

 

Once the drivers are uninstalled, go to http://hp.care/2dTCeH1 to download and install the printer drivers.

Dvortex - thank you, I now have a printer again.  However the original HP Photosmart version 12 is still listed in programs and features.....as is version 14 which I installed today.  12 was the one I couldn't uninstall - and apparently still can't.  But at least I was able to install 14.
