Issue details:

  • HP Scan application does not detect the scanner or fails to scan.

  • Windows Scan app also fails.

  • Flatbed scanning works correctly using NAPS2 (WIA driver).

  • ADF / Feeder scanning does NOT work in HP Scan, Windows Scan, or NAPS2.

  • NAPS2 shows WIA error 8021000E when using Feeder.

  • Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service is running.

  • Device appears correctly in Devices and Printers.

  • Hardware is working (flatbed confirmed).

Observation:
This appears to be a driver/software compatibility issue on Windows 11, not a hardware fault.
HP Scan app seems incompatible or unable to properly access WIA/ADF on Windows 11.
