Hello,
For my personal use I purchased a HP LaserJet Pro M477 fdw that I use at home. At the beginning I was using the HP Scan & Capture App on my Windows 10 computer, but like any other "crAPP" under this new trend of treating real computers as if they're smartphones, the "crAPP" was limited and it didn't provide all the options that I wanted.
Thanks to the awesome and excellent support from users of this forums (for what I'm very grateful), I found that my printer came with an excellent utility called HP Scan Extended that was bundled with a license of the I.R.I.S. software provided by HP. The combination of both programs is excellent and covers all my needs.
So now I want to use HP Scan Extended at work but there is a problem, all the other printers that are configured on my computer are not getting recognized by the utility, the only one listed is the M477. The printers that I'm using at work are; two LaserJet MFP M426fdn, one OfficeJet Pro 6978 and one OfficeJet Pro 8600.
Yes, the HP Scan & Capture APP does recognize all the printers but again I no longer want to use it.
One more thing at work I also have; two LaserJet Enterprise M630 and one LaserJet Enterprise M632 none of those three printers are recognized either, not only by HP Scan Extended but also, they are not getting recognized by the HP Scan & Capture App.
So please help me, how can I make HP Scan Extended to recognize all the printers?
Best regards.

Update - I was able to solve part of the problem. For each Laserjet Pro and OfficeJet Pro printer I had to download and isntall the full set of software/driver and install them. Having them added via "Control Panel" "Devices and Printers" is not enough. Now for the LaserJet MFP M426fdn I had to run the same installation package twice. The installation program will detect that the software and drivers are already installed and will ask you if you want to removed it or add another printer and that's what I did. Add another printer was selected and then both printer were shown, the second one was selected and another entry was added. Now when I run HP Scan Extended before it shows all the scan options, I'm presented with a list of scan drivers. For the M426 I have #1 and #2. The one that needs to be used is selected and when you get to the main screen the printer get listed on the top.
Now, I did the same thing for the LaserJet Enterprise printers and it didn't work. The full set of software/drivers were downloaded and installed but the printers are not getting listed on HP Scan Extended.
Any ideas?
