Product: HP Photosmart D110aExample: Pavilion 6530
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Scan Extended used to work perfectly, but now only scans a small corner of any document.  It will only scan a 4.03”x2.98” portion, even though the page size is set to 8.5x11.  If I try to enlarge the scan area, I get an error message saying that 4.03x2.98 are the maximum dimensions.  I can provide screen shots, if needed.

What caused this glitch?  More importantly, how to I get HP Scan Extended to function properly again?

Hi,

Please click Start > Settings (gear icon) > Apps and search for HP within the apps list, what results are given?

 

Can you find the original HP software installed, such as the HP Solution Center software, HP Deskjet software for your printer and the HP Digital Imaging Device functionality? lack of the manufacturer driver may cause a such if only HP Scan Extended is installed.

 

Please let me know what exact results are given,
