Good Morning,
i have some trouble solving this issue with my local printer.
Device: HP Laserjet Pro M428
Connection: USB
Software: HPScan.exe, Version: 48.4.4528.0
If I start the Scan.exe as a User, the App doesn't show up, the app crashes directly with Application Error (Event ID 1000)
When I start the HPScan.exe as an Admin user, I can use the Scan SW correctly.
Third Party Apps in user Mode cant Access the Scanner anymore too.
Windows Fax and Scan can use the scanner correctly, but this is no solution for the other applications.
Scan Sw did not change, Error might came with some Microsoft updates.
clean reinstall with disconnected Printer did not change the Behavior.
The printer can be used with user rights, only Scan does not work.
Do you have suggestions to solve this?
