Hello,

I have a G4050 that works fine. I can use other SW to make basic scans but the HP Photo Smart SW fails when trying to load.  I need SW to use all features of this scanjet.  I've checked and I've not been able to locate the software I need to download for this.  I found the G4050 page and downloaded the basic drivers there but it is not what I looking for.  HP Scan SW loaded on my pc will only search for and install network devices.  It sees my network 281 printer.  It never find the USB connected G4050.

Any help on where I can get what I need?

What OS are you using? Full software is only available for WIN7 and WIN XP

Win10.  That's what I've always had with the scanner.  Think the SW will appear if I  have a choice to pick WIN7 ?
