Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I scan on my HP 8620 using my PC with W10 - sometimes general failure will come up when scanning. I restarted my computer and printer, it still doesnt work???

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

HP Recommended

Set up DeskJet 3632 yesterdaay.  Downloaded HP Scan and Capture App.  Scanned and saved one document.  Now I keep getting a "general failure"  notice when I try to scan and save.  Any ideas  on what to do?
