We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Deskjet 4000 series and others

You use the HP Scan application to scan something. It shows a small thumbnail of the scan. You think all you can do is rotate, change exposure or save.

BUT NO! Just click (maybe double click) the thumbnail and it will open the usual window tha allows you to crop it.

I searched and didnt find this answer, but I did find answers that said to install a different HP App. No need, just click the thumbnail and you can crop your image before saving.

I realise this is not a question, but it IS an answer for the next person.

Example - "HP Scan" > Save as JPEG > Scan > Click Open > Crop > Save
