Does anyone know how to setup HP Scan to Email for Microsoft 365?

I have tried a number of different setting and still can not get it to work. 

I have tried with a standard user and the new high volume email (preview) user nothing works

When I run Email Server Test I get Invalid Credentials. 

I have read a number of different articles and nothing works... 

 

My printer is a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302fdw

Try using a different e-mail address (not from Microsoft).

This works.
Microsoft has made changes.

Sadly that’s not an option this is a Microsoft only environment by design and they don’t want to use other supplies email addresses. 

Microsoft 365 has a large user base so you would think HP products would work with it?

and here is the problem Authentication Method: OAuth2/Modern Auth

My FW version is 6.17.5.34-202412122146 that is the most current version and is the level I have been using for all the testing above so has not helped.

A temporary solution could be to store the scans in a folder on the computer or in a network. Then send as an attachment.
This is an additional step, but a good, secure solution.

HP is working on it and will provide a solution. Unfortunately I can't give a date.

Hi,

May you try generating an App Password to use with a Microsoft 365 account and see if that may work?

I do not have any access to test a such, but previously tested with great results to allow a proper connection.

I could not test any such lately, but with positive results in the past to allow a proper connection with MS 365 on multiple devices..
