Hello

I have tried to set up my office's printer to allow us to scan to a network folder.

Upon set up, I can get to the test page, which gives me the following:

"Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again."

The network folder shows up on the Printer Screen, but again scanning shows this same message.

I have attempted to use the log in and password info for our companies HP account and this is rejected. I have allowed share permissions on the folder to scan to, but this did not work. I am out of ideas, please can someone provide the solution as our scanner is completely functionless at this point.

HP Smart does not work scan function wise either.  Additionally, now that Google requires automatic 2-step verification, the 'less secure app' fix as shown on google is now outdated also.

Thanks

Not sure this will work with a Company's email server - Company email servers tend to object to third party / machine generated connections.

True - Google was first and several providers have since moved to 2-Step verification and the need for an App Password for Third Party Apps.  Processes like Scan to Email and Scan to Network qualify as a third party app trying to access the security placed on the email account.

Example - EWS - Scan to Network - Profile
