Can someone please help me with directions on how to "share" this scanner between two computers hooked up to a newtwork?

Hi,

You cannot share a USB scanner, a USB connection allow using a single computer... for multiple PCs you would need a scanner with network capabilitieis

 

MS Windows offer Print and File share capabilities, it do not offer any scanner sharing capabiliteis for multiple computers...

 

There are some 3rd party software applications to allow sharing a USB scanner, you may search Google for such solutions and from my experiece those will not be for free..
