I have a HP Scanjet 8500,  the paper present sensor flag return spring has become dislodged.

The service manual does not give any details on how to strip the ADF assembly to gain access to where the spring is located.

Does anyone have or know where there is a detailed description of how to strip the 8500 ADF assembly
