Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I have an HP Scanjet N6350 network scanner (hard wired not Wi-Fi) that i am trying to get to install under Windows 11 (version 10.0.26200)

It used to run under W10 but wouldn't connect under W11 - i have reinstalled the scanner tools (limited stuff on the HP support), disabled Norton during attempts, run tools utility under admin and W8 compatibility modes:

Where I am at (firewall disabled):

  • HP Scanner Tool can see printer (IP address etc)
  • Scanner is visible on network (ping works, web interface accessible on its IP address)
  • HP Scanner Tool fails at 99% with "Failed to add scanner"

I even went through diagnostics with AI Claude for couple of hours but just hit a wall - the scanner should show my laptop on its main screen (it used to when it worked on W10) - you select that and the laptop software would just work but it got reset so even that is not there now.

Is there anything clever (or just dumb) that I'm missing.  I tried VueScan (that says it works with it) but it only finds, what I assume is, a neighbor's scanner!

Try with universal scan driver for W11  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-universal-scan-software/2101620481
