HP Scanjet Pro 3000 S4 Not Splitting Documents into indiidual PDFs.

I have a user that wants to enable the "Split after blank pages" option on their HP Scanjet Pro 3000 S4 along with having blank pages being deleted. When using the scanner and using the scan to PC option (physical button on the front of the scanner), scanning to folder, and scanning multiple documents together, all of the files get dumped into one PDF without deleting any blank pages. Both options are enabled, and the only way I can get it to split files is to select the option of splitting manually after 2 pages, which still does not delete the blank pages.

I've tried a fresh reinstall, completely gutting everything to do with HP from the PC, and resetting the Scanner to default settings to see if something was stuck somewhere.

5. Adjust Separation Settings:

6. Go to the Document menu in the application.
7. Ensure the option to "Separate pages into multiple documents" is checked.
8. Select Page Separation Method:
9. Choose "Before each page with a barcode" option if your documents have identifiable barcodes for separation. Click OK to confirm.
10. Scan and Save Each Document:

11. Scan your documents. Each set of scanned pages will be saved with separate filenames based on the settings configured.

13. Please ensure all configurations are saved before scanning and check for any specific settings related to document separation in the application.

Additional Tips

• Barcodes or Blank Pages:

• If your documents do not have barcodes or blank pages for separation, consider inserting standard pages manually between document sets for proper separation during scanning.

• Update Software:

• Ensure your HP Scan or HP Twain software is updated to the latest version to access all features effectively.
