We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended
HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 Network Scanner
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Cannot connect to the Synology DS1812+network folder: " ScanDir,"

neither from my

HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 nor with

HP ScanJetPro4500fn1.

Scanning to my Lenovo Thinkpad P15t w. latest Win10prof/de x64.

using those HP-Forum-hints listed below works sucsessefully for the PC

on both,

but still does not work for my Synology NAS.

I ensured, the SMB 1.0/SIFS File Sharing Support option is checked,
PC was restarted as required. User Rights have been set accordingly
Then tryed scanning to the shared  NAS folder again.

Using the following form for the path:
\\COMPUTERNAME.local\ShareName

\\IP Address]ShareName (e.g. \\171.826.118.5\ALL\ScanDir\)

ScanDir-Path  to PC  :on my HP-Scanner is set to
c:\Users\myName\Documents\ScanDir\

and it worked !

But not so  to my SYNOLOGY NAS  Scan Dir !

Neither with the IP as "COMPUTERNAME.local"

nor with it's given FQDN. on my SYnology NAS

(having it's "ShareName" user-admin -enabled.

How can i directly scan & Save to my NAS directly

without scanning to PC first and then doing a copy2NAS?
