When trying to use the scanner on my MFP177fw through Apple's printer app, I get the following error

“HP Scanner 3” will damage your computer. Tried both WIFI and hard wired

I was also prevented from logging into my HP account (following go to HP website instructions on printer info from Systems Preferences). I downloaded HP Smart and was able to login and scan accordingly. But still can't get Image Capture to work again with my HP printer Officejet Pro 8610.
