HP Smart App Scan to PDF has different page sizes with the PDF

I use the HP Smart App to scan documents into PDFs. I noticed recently that within a PDF document, several pages were different sizes. I went through all the settings within the app and I'm not seeing where I can change that. I think it happens from me cropping the pages? But if so, how can I make the PDF uniform? It's visually unappealing and I can't image it would print correctly if someone tried. I added a screenshot below of what the PDF looks like in the viewer. This is within one PDF, and all four pages are slightly different sizes.

Sure, could be Crop, though you would likely know if you were using the Scan > Edit > Crop feature.

General Answer

Best control results when you select the Printer flatbed or ADF and control the Page Size.

The following is perhaps somewhat relevant to iOS (iPhone)

In general, using the camera to scan is harder to control the size .

Using the Printer / Scanner / Flatbed (glass) or ADF

Edit > Crop can be controlled using a standard crop size.

For example

Open HP Smart

Select to Scan (documents or photos)

Preset Document (works similarly for photo)

After the content is scanned, Select to Edit

Select Crop

Select a standard crop size

For example

Letter

Square

A4

5x7

4x6

3.5x5
