Product: HP Smart
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
HP Smart is a terrible piece of software when it comes to scanning.
When I start the program it is using ~250Mb according to task manager.
After scanning only 8 pages memory use is already up to ~1Gb
It is almost 100Mb per scanned page!
After saving the scanned document the memory is not being released!!!
If I continue scanning the program would become slower and slower.
After ~20 pages scanned I have to restart "HP Smart" program.
If this memory leak is a bug it needs to be fixed.
I hope it is not your intention to discourage people from using "HP Smart" for scanning on HP printers.
I have the same issue with "HP Smart" on both of my computers and both HP Printers.
