Product: HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Smart no longer recognizes the scanner on any USB connected printer.  I tried with both an HP 4155 and HP 6055 with the same result.  HP Smart version shows 154.1.1072.0

I need to do some more investigation but I suspect that an older version may be what's needed to restore this functionality

Rolling back to version 153.1.1137.0 resulted in a successful scan via USB once I added the 4155e via HP Smart.

 

The issue, WITHOUT QUESTION, is the latest version of HP Smart.

HP engineers ... please get this fixed ASAP.
