HP Smart app gives "Couldn't connect to scanner" error on one PC while scanning works perfectly on another similar PC. This started just few weeks ago while the scanning worked perfectly over several years. I tried all the suggestions which I found over the net to no avail. The printer is connected to the local network and its status in HP Smart is OK. HP Smart Diagnose and fix finds no errors. I tried previous version of HP Smart with the same result.

Please suggest what else I can try to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

The issue was solved by just removing the printer and adding it again in Windows setting. So simple. I just wonder why I did not see this as a suggestion from HP support...
