HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having difficulty with printer setup to laptop.  I had to unistall and reinstall printer.  Now when I try to upload HP smart it says I already own this although it is not listed in my apps.  I also get an error midway in the install Code 0x80073CFB.  Please help me someone.  I need to utilize scanning through app or how do I bypass this?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Which printer model is that HP Envy Photo or Envy pro or ?

Can try to uninstall and reinstall HP Smart app from Microsoft store or Play Store (if on Android phone)?

Else, can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:

This example will show you how it's done (steps are the same for any printer)

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
