Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP Smart does not offer 2 sided scan/collate with my HP laptop and windows 11.  my previous laptop had windows 10 and it did offer 2 sided scan.  by 2 sided scan i mean that there is an option with hp smart that automatically collates the scans in the correct order.  even after trying several hp smart downloads, i cannot get the 2 sided optiopn.

Scanning - how it is handled and the features available to it - are handled by the full driver printer software for the particular printer.  Your computer is not controlling the scan options.

 

Install the full driver printer software on your Windows 11 computer - Use HP Scan

hi...thanks for the tip....unfortunately after downloading all new drivers, there has been no change.  hp smart still does not

provide an option for 2nsided scan either on glasstop or feeder.

i use hp smart which is the tool for scanning etc.
 
this is what the hp smart menu looks like:

after hitting scan, this is what you get:

with my old system there was a line that allowed you to select 2 sided scan........after scanning front and back of each document, the scan program put them in correct order.
 
just trying to get the same feature.
