macOS 12.0 Monterey

Using Mac OS - repeatedly have to sign in to scan and then it says scan not available. Takes quite a while to find my printer. WHY WHY WHY is it set up this way... what could be worse????? Was so easy before when you could just scan. Come on guys!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information

 

May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

using Macbook Pro OS Ventura 13.0.1

 
Scanning with HP Office Jet Pro 9015e.  (which I have used successfully for years)
 
Cannot scan without creating an account, which I did… but EVERY TIME I have to scan something I have to sign in, and recently, half the time it says “scanning not available, try later”… WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK! it’s my scanner, that I bought to scan with, that scanned with no problem until you made us have to create and account and sign in… 
 
I tried going back to easy scan and it won’t save the file. I see the scan, but when I hit save (as pdf or anything else) and then open the document it is empty. 
 
Why, why, why would you make something that WORKED…. more complicated?!?!?!?
