Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Officejet 7310 All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use "HP Solution Center" Software to scan on my 7310 all-in-one. I upgraded to Windows10 & it all worked fine. I just got the latest Windows-10 update last week. Now, HP Solution Center will not open. When I click on the desktop Icon I get nothing but an alert tone- No other indication of what went wrong.

I have Uninstalled the driver & reinstalled it from the HP site- no change.  I have the latest Windows-10 update. I have used the HP diagnostics  & test progs and I know printer & scanner do function. The problem seems to be in the HP Solution Center start-up software.

I  have also tried to download the  "HP Scan & Capture" app. It won't download  -

Please help.

Hi there,

The best solution for the Windows 10 Flash application failure that some people are seeing following Microsoft’s patch (KB 3132372) that was published around the end of 2015 (December 29th)

Run Windows Update (Settings, Update and Security) and check that the update KB3133431 is installed

If you are unclear if the update has been installed

  1. Enter "View Installed Updates" in the Windows search bar. It will show an option in the Control Panel.
  2. Click on the shown option.
  3. Scroll down and check if "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3133431)" is installed if not run Windows update

I hope this helps

My Printer an HP C4580 All in One works using the wifi local network from a pc running windows 10.

HP solution center only works when the usb cable is connected, without the usb cable connected HP solution center shows a screen which says that the printer is not connected even though print can still be sent by wifi. I uninstalled the printer driver, reloaded the printer and used HP printer doctor and all seems ok. Have run a wireless network test gives an ok result.  HP Solution center still refuses to work over the wifi. I have the original HP driver instalation disc which works on the old vista powered pc but this disc will not run on a windows ten machine as requested by SolutionCenter. The instalation menu says that a driver has been installed for the printer for wifi connection, but that has not resolved the problem.  Any ideas anyone?
