Product: HP ENVY 6032e All-in-One Printer

Why does my HP envy 6032e Printer/Scanner say that it is unavailable when I try to use it. I bought it. I do not rent it so I expect it to be available whenever I want to use it. I would say that 75% of the times I try to use it it is unavailable, which I find unacceptable. Please could someone advise me how to solve this.
