When setting up scan to email I have tested the email account access using an SMTP testing site from a PC on the same LAN as the printer. The email is a **bleep** address and the server setting is smtp.**bleep**.com port 567 SSL/TSL. Access was confirmed and a test email was sent and received. When using the same information in the Outgoing Email settings on the printer the following message is displayed:

 

Cannot resolve the SMTP server.

Check the SMTP and DNS server settings.....

 

Is there a setting on the printer that must be changed? How do I resolve this. Driving me crazy after 3 hours of searching and testing.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have port 465 instead of 567 for smtp

 

Make sure you use an app password and not the g.mail password
