M2727 MFP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just installed HP driver package on new Win10 system (no previous HP software or drivers of any kind).  M2727 successfully prints and scans, which is a big relief given the age of this package (2014).  But I'm having problems with the included HP software.

(1) When Scan is run from Start Menu, a task that uses the TWAIN dialog shows that window and then gives a repeating "Server busy" error, cycling back and forth forever between it and Start Menu; I can't even Cancel, have to run Task Manager to end the process.  Why?  If a Desktop shortcut is used to run Scan instead, this error doesn't occur.

(2) Fax Setup just shows a window with Next/Cancel, and when I select Next it ends.  Is this normal, because the fax is already "set up" from use with my old computer?

Is the question too technical for this forum, or the driver software too old to be of interest to anyone but me?
