Hello, 

 

May i know the OS on you PC (Windows or MAC) ?

The legacy HP LaserJet M1005 MFP is a highly durable printer, but because of its age, the native HP software often lacks built-in PDF scan configurations or conflicts with Windows 10 and Windows 11 updates.

 

If your PC is working on Windows,  give a try with below mentioned steps.

  • Open the Microsoft Store on your computer.  Search for and install the free Windows Scan App (published by Microsoft Corporation).
  • Open the app, and ensure your HP LaserJet M1005 is selected as the source.
  • Change the File Type dropdown selection from PNG/JPEG to PDF.
  • Click Scan.
