Hello,
We have 2 HP7740 printers.
On both when I scan a document to USB the PDF files are corrupt.
I have tried to open the PDF file on multiple Windows PCs with the same result.
What is the solution to successfully scanning a PDF file to USB?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you tried scanning different documents to check if the issue persists or is it only with this specific document?
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here
Alternatively, install HP Scan extended on the PC. Click here to download the file.
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
Try scanning.
