I have a HP 8710 All in One Printer, which until recently had been working fine. Lately I've had to trouble shoot to get it to print but figured that out. However, it will not scan from my computer over my network, and literally nothing has changed. When I click the Scan button on the HP smart app, I get a message that Scanning is not available. I've uninstalled the printer, etc and cannot get this to work. I can use the scan function from the unit itself, but Id much rather be able to control it from the computer where I save documents into folders, etc. Looking for any other advice/guidance.

Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-8710-all-in-one-printer-...
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
