Hi all,

 

when I use the scan-to-email function of my HP9120e printer it scans all pages but sends for each page one email. If I choose e.g. PDF and scan 3 pages I get 3 emails with 3 PDF files 😞

I checked the configuration on the printer as well as via browser but couldn't find any configuration for this.

Does anybody know how to configure this?

I don't know --

As you have found, there is naught in the printer Scan to Email "Email Servers" Profile settings (or in the Scan to Email defaults) to control or select the source (Flatbed or ADF).

 

ADF, at least, should combine the pages into one file --

 

I doubt source of the fault is the Quick Set.

 

Perhaps restart the printer - takes just a minute or two and MIGHT help sort whatever is going on.

 

If you wish to do so, try creating a new one.

If you have not done so and wish to try it,

What are the results of using HP Scan to scan and email the content?

 

Reminder: 

HP Scan > Email as PDF > More > Document

Make sure "Separate documents" setting is Disabled

HP Smart can also complete this task -

 

 

Reminders: 

  • Before using HP Smart to "Share" >> Add your "sending email address" to the New Outlook application.
  • HP Smart Shortcuts supports sending content to one or more email addresses.
  • If using the Flatbed to scan, remember to use "+ Add" to add each page

 

Note:  The example illustrates "Share" for Photo -

Make the appropriate change to the Preset for Document

One other thought if you are scanning at too high a resolution the file size might be so large that the printer is breaking them up assuming the mail server will reject the attachment.

Thanks for all advised but still face the same problem.

Have also re-setup printer and WLAN connection as well as scan-to-email configuration.

In addition changed from from 300dpi to 150dpi but still it does not work.

 

Any further idea?
