Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Follow these steps :

 

1. Plug in USB thumbdrive into the Printer USB port (at the Front).  Then select Scan to USB

2.  Select File Type to be PDF

3.  Load in document into Document Feeder (You will see a prompt on the Control Panel)

4. Tap on Send  to start scanning and the document will be scan and saved in the USB thumbdrive.
