Having Trouble with set up

Hello.  I am using an HP MFP M130fw printer/scanner/copier.  I need to scan a large document but am having several issues.

1.  The unit is not using the automated feeder.  I have to manually feed each page.  However, the automated feeder is taking the paper if I use copy.

2.  I am using the touch screen on the unit and clicking on "scan to email".  It then asks me to set up the email account by going to the HP folder on my computer.  I cannot locate this folder

3.  The scans that I have done are coming up as JPG files.  I need them to be PDF files.  How do I change this setting?
