Ho4650 how do I scan multiple pages into one document (windows10) TIA

Hi I’m trying to scan multiple pages on my HP4650 from the document feeder, howhever it scans them as individual pages. Can I combine the into one document? Thanks in advance.

Scan the document using software on the computer.

Example

Full Feature Software > HP Scan

More > Destination > Click open PDF > UN-Check the box that would create a separate file for each page.

hi thanks for you reply, however I have HP smart installed but I don’t get any options that are shown on your screenshot. I just get these?

You are welcome.

HP Smart is not HP Scan - the options in the HP Smart application are different from those available in HP Scan (part of your Full Feature Software).

HP Smart - Windows

If you are trying to scan duplex - your printer does not support the feature.

I do not know what else would be going on.

Once the Presets are completed in the main scan menu, the document feeder should be able to scan all the pages (and give you the opportunity to optionally "+ Add" more pages).

Save should then save the PDF as a single file.

It is possible that HP Smart needs to be updated.

HP Smart – Version Check / Update

Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Scroll or Search for HP Smart > Advanced Options

What if?

If the current version of HP Smart is / was already installed,

the Advanced options also provides Reset, Repair, and Uninstall options.

Windows Store - Application Updates

Windows (Start) > Windows Store

In the upper right corner, click on the three horizontal dots (Settings)

Select Downloads and Updates

Applications available for update are listed on top, above the main app list.
