How can I enlarge a copy on HP deskjet 2800e

I have just bought a HP Desk Jet 2800e and would like to copy and enlarge (say 150% of original size) without having to fire up my computer, just (in old terms) to photocopy and enlarge. Is this possible on this printer?  Even from the phone app?

My old Epson had a display screen which had "copy" then "original size" or " 150%" , "200%" and "increase" or "decrease".

Welcome to the HP English Community --

No such Copy setting on the printer.

True - Printers with a full touchscreen printer control panel include features not found on economy grade printers.

All is not lost, though you will need to complete the task using other than Copy and done.

One more key bit of information:

Reminder

At this writing, DeskJet printers (including this one) require a larger margin along the bottom edge --

12.7mm (1/2 inch)

Borderless Printing

No

Print Margin Bottom (A4)	12.7 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)	3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)	3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)	3 mm

There is no software, firmware, or alignment that changes the larger margin requirement.

The solution is to keep all data inside of 1/2 inch on the bottom edge.  This includes all page numbers, footer information, or other notations.

Use a supported phone and the HP Smart app to scan and save the content.

Open the saved file and print.

The limitation of the app is that the size of the print tends to follow the size of the paper.

Not great but perhaps "enough"

I suspect that at least for supported Apple products there is an app to print at selected size.

Check at the Apple Store.

Android is (in my mind) less certain - there is a good chance there is "an app for that".

iPad / iPadOS (at this writing) offers a manual resize option.

Computer - Supported  Operating System / version

HP Smart can run in a supported OS / version as well and provides features to print to size at least to the extent that the print fits on the paper.

Depending on the OS/ version type, there might be other options, too.

Installing the full driver supports other printing and scanning options, including those that support Poster Printing.  Poster print offers options to print your content at any size you wish -- large prints can be spread across more than one sheet of paper.  Poster printing is supported in both PDF and Photo / Image printing.
