Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to scan a document (form) into the computer so that I can complete certain areas (fill in the blanks) and then print. After that I would return the form to its original state to be completed again at a later date.

I believe your printer comes with an OCR (optical character recognition) software called  Readiris on the second CD in the box. If not, please download from the following link and install to your computer

 

    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/readiris/Readiris14ProHPWin.zip 

 

After that open HP Scan as normal then select as shown

You then can edit scanned file to enter information to the form, save it before sending out.
