Hello!
I recently discovered that my printer, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 can scan multiple pages at a time in the document feeder that I previously thought was only for making copies. I installed HP Smart and was successfully able to scan a stack of documents at a time, only to find out that there is no option to save various pages as separate files. I looked around on the forums here for a solution, to find that HP Smart is apparently incapable of saving the documents separately, and that I need to download and install a separate software, HP Scan. The problem being, I can't find an individual download for HP Scan anywhere, and when I download the "HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer series / HP OfficeJet 8600 Series Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers" HP Scan is not one of the included applications.
How can I scan multiple documents at a time, and then save each page as a separate file to my computer?

Odd, I should think that HP Scan as you describe it should be in your Full Feature Software.
So...
Try adding the following nice "subset"...
HP Scan Extended
- Download-Save-Install > HP Scan Extended
- HPSE is a subset an older Full Feature Software suite.
- HPSE features are very similar to the HP Scan Software released after 2015.
- Although HPSE appears to be a separate software, HPSE is dependent on the infrastructure provided by the Full Feature Software. The Full Feature Software for your printer should be installed before installing and using HPSE.
- OPTIONAL: Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
- Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Pin to Taskbar
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Send to Desktop (Create a Shortcut)
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Pin to Start
- HP Scan Extended features include (and are not limited to): Single, Multiple scans, Image and PDF scans, Email as PDF / JPEG, Source selection, Page Size choices include Auto-Detect (extracts image / document boundary). Might include OCR (Save as Editable Text).
A couple of examples
Main Menu and More > Destination
HPSE_Scan-to-PDF_1
HPSE_Scan-to-PDF_1E
