LaserJet Pro MFP M130nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

LaserJet Pro MFP M130nw is a pprinter and a scanner. For scanning the highest dpi is 600 (color) and 1200 (mono, ...) but I truly can only scan at 300 dpi any higher than that the app just stops communicating with the printer and the printer is stuck at "scanning to computer". I have redownloaded/updated everything, first it worked and then no more. I have the full drivers installed. I tried removing it from my printers on my computer and adding it again but that didn't work, now its on the network "NET", it says before that it showed the full name no "NET" or anything. I have also checked in the properties and drivers of the printer through controlpanel. It shows two "printers" one with 300 dpi for scanning and the other with 1200 dpi, that confuses me. Another thing, in the properties panel through control panel it says that the driver wsd scan what is like 14 years old, how can I update that? How can I scan at a higher dpi, what was I doing wrong? Photos can give you extra information.Aantekening 2020-06-01 221822.pngThose two are the same printers, but have two different dpi maximums and seperate options as seen in the photo. Those two are the same printers, but have two different dpi maximums and seperate options as seen in the photo.Aantekening 2020-06-01 221554.pngAantekening 2020-06-01 221536.pngAantekening 2020-06-01 221418.png

Hi @Pushwant

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Use the HP Scan Extended app to scan and check if that helps.

Click here to download the app.

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Alternatively, you may download the full-featured driver from here.

You may watch this video for a better understanding.

Note: This video is not from HP and from a third-party channel.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
