HP ENVY 7644 Windows 10 Desktop

All my scans go to ADOBE READER, which now wants me to pay a usage fee.

It's bad enough that all previous stuff I've scanned is now read only, but I would like to make sure nothing else is sent to ADOBE.

As a 69 year old retiree, it makes no sense to pay so much for anything I want to scan.

Anyone know how to send to another folder?

Hi @mdk716,

I'd like to help

I understand you would like to change the location of the scan destination folder.

Follow the below instructions-

1. Launch the HP Envy 7640 Software.

2. Printer assistant opens then select scan

3. Click on Scan document.

4. Please select "Save to file" in "Scan to"

5. Please select your desired file optione ex: JPG, PDF, etc

6. You can see the option called “save location”

8. Click on Browse and select the location where you want to save.

9. Click on save

Also, when opening a scanned document click on open with and select a different application from Adobe to open and view the document

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
