You change the resolution under the HP Scan program.    Image tab then Resolution (ppi).

Hi,

I am trying to change the scan resolution from the app using an android tablet. I can't create a shortcut from the program files. I would really lIke to scan at higher than 300 dpi.  I am using the HP smart app. Is it possible to scan higher than 300dpi from a tablet or mobile?

Thanks

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you would like to change the scan resolution from the HP Smart App using an Android tablet.

I personally tried to scan an image and could not find an option to change the scan resolution using the app. Hence I conclude the app does not allow you to change the scan resolution it depends on the camera of the tablet you're using.

Please refer to this HP article for additional information about the HP Scan app.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! 🙂
