Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Install HP Smart (From Microsoft Store) and setup the printer and connect it to the network.
1. Select Scan and after scanning, there is an Edit feature (click on the 3 dots).
2. Adjust the "Brightness" slider to darken the document.
